Control system for forming machine maintains consistency
Vacuum forming is often the cheapest and quickest way to create simple displays and parts. Sheet plastic is heated and sucked down over a forming tool by a vacuum, thus taking its shape. There are restrictions on vacuum forming (fig .1). The product must not be self-intersecting (trap the tool inside it) so it can be removed and therefore must have one open side.

Our machines can form displays from sheet plastic up to 1080 mm x 1600 mm in surface area, and it is possible form up to 500 mm in depth depending upon the size and shape of the display.
The largest machine has computer controlled settings, operation and feedback to maintain consistency in production batches.
